　シリアの首都ダマスカスからヨルダンの首都アンマンへの移動。 雨混じりの強風の為、ゴラン高原にあるクネイトラ（イスラエル軍が破壊した町で、 現在は国連管理下。アンマンで許可証を取れば見に行くことが出来る）の見学を止めて移動に集中した。 気温も低く、ガタガタ震えながら日没後にアンマンへ到着。クリフホテルに宿泊したのだが、 この日の夜から下痢と発熱でダウン。 ヨルダン国境で取得した車検証は仮の為、アンマンの事務所 (Ministry of finance customs department) で正式書類を作成する必要があり、 調子の悪い体を押して書類作成に挑む。しかし、書類提出の窓口での押し合いの際に ウェストポーチからデジカメが盗まれた模様で、手続きが終わって建物の外に出て初めて気が付いた・・・ 「カメラが無い！やられた・・・」 体調不良の上に盗難と踏んだり蹴ったりだ。
I moved from Damascus, Syria to Amman, Jordan. But this day's weather was very bad, strong wind and rain. It was too bad, I gave up to go to Qunaytirah. Qunaytirah is famous of destroyed by Israel. (I took permition in Amman.) After sunset, I arrived Amman and stayed "Clif Hotel". But after midnight, I ran off and became feverish. In the border, I took a temporary VIC, I had to go and proceeded a VIC. I went to the ministry of finance customs department and finished my job. But my camera was stolen in this office...

　仕方ないので無理して警察署へ向かい、とりあえず盗難証明書を発行してもらう。 この一件で完全に精神的にも肉体的にもグッタリさせられ、 バイクを置いてエルサレムを見に行く気力はすっかり無くなってしまった。 食事をすれば下痢、しかも食事は不味いので余計に物が食べれない悪循環。 一日でも早くアンマンを離れたいと思うばかりだった。 体調は完全ではなかったが、30日にやっとアンマンを離れる。モーゼ最後の地であるネボ山を見てから 死海のある海抜マイナス400m付近の大地へ降り、死海を右手に見ながら南へと走っていった。
I was struck dumb with amazement for a moment. I pulled myself together, I went to police office and requested to make my theif report. (Finally, not return my camera.) I had physical and mental and economical damage, I came to thoroughly hate to stay Amman. On Nov 30, my condition was recovering, I left here and went to Nebo mountain and Dead Sea.
