The days in Osh and move to China border, Kyrgyzstan. Aug 2004.

Aug 28 to 30.

My first plan was only to stay 1 day in Osh. But I met one university student "Igragim" he could speak English, he tought me tomorrow is Kyrgyzstan independent day. I decided to stay more one day. However, my stomach was suddenly pained after lunch. It was too painful, so I couldn't watch independent celemony. In addition, Delhi belly was continuing a few days. I must take a rest more on day. In this result, I could met Australian backpacker "Micheal" again and another Igragim he wants to go abroad to study in Japan.

Right: Central park in Osh. This place is the venue of celemony.

The bazar in Osh. Many foods, items are in-and-out.

My condition was not complete but I left Osh and go to China border. There were a few cars in this road. I drove my motorcycle slowly about 70km/h. After 3 hours, I arrived Sary-tash this is a very small town like a village. I had a lunch and gained gas. I went about 2km, there was a army checkpoint. The solder said you must go to base. I went with one solder with machine gun on my motorcycle. I nagotiated boss in this base. Finally, I paied US$10 for him, and US$1 for checkpoint. (I think my money changed beer or other things.) Until Kyrgyzstan border, this road was very bad. Near border, many workers improved the road. One worker tought me China border has already closed today and he invited me in workers apartment in Nura village. One stuff "Raisa" she spoke English, I could talk them. Thanks Raisa and everyone.
